CHEQUAMEGAN FAT TIRE WEEKEND
The Fat Man calls and again it's that time of year to see who survives the Fat Tire 40 from Hayward to Cable Wisconsin. Being an 11 year veteran of this race still doesn't make it any easier. The hills, weather, start and your own mindset take a huge toll on how you finish. Training has gone well since the Ore 2 Shore and this is a great weekend to be around friends, especially Yort's annual after race party at his cabin hidden deep in the Chequamegon Forest. Hopefully a few good photos and news of a decent finish will qualify for the next posting on Monday. Good Luck to all.
