LOST!
No, I'm not talking about the TV series here.  Saturday was an amazing adventure in itself at the inaugural Chequamegon 100 that started and finished in Seeley, WI.  A big thanks goes out to everyone involved with the logistics of putting on an event like this that consisted of a majority of the single-track in the CAMBA system along with the Birkie trail, fire roads and varies snowmobile trails.  Overall the only hiccup that Lee Unwin and I encountered throughout our 11 hour adventure came from a few navigational errors where we missed crucial turns and not being able to match up the cue sheets with some of the correct roads even with four cyclists present and gps assistance.  No harm done and an additional 10 miles was no big deal even as we suffered up some very steep Birkie ski trail hills as we backtracked in the final 5 miles to get back on the correct course to get us to the finish.  Being that this was a more relaxed event, it was great to ride and talk with many friends over the course of the ride with no pressure to be racing someone.  I highly recommend that if you get a chance to participate in an event such as the Chequamegon 100 that you at least try one.  It's not just about who rides their bikes the fastest, but about who the people are that are riding their bikes and the good times at the post ride festivities.  Pedal on...

That was one heck of an adventure. It's a race like the first Ragnarok. It will be impossible to repeat. Cheers.
