Chippewa WORS Firecracker XC

Overall a great weekend of racing with the whole family along for support. A big thanks to Barb Daanen for helping my wife with the kids while she handed up water bottles each lap to three different racers. I pedaled my Rotor Q-Rings on my Specialized S-Works Epic to a rewarding 13th overall in a good sized pro/elite field to capture a small edge of the podium on a day that saw the temps in the mid eighties along with a fast race that gave you little time to relax. The course was awesome with its flowing single track and man made obstacles that were crowd favorites for spectating. Counting myself and my Adventure 212/Specialized teammates we filled a total of four spots out of the fourteen paying pro/elite podium spots for the day with Tom Bender, Darrin Braun & TJ Woodruff higher up on the box. Three weeks and counting until 24-9. Pedal on...

Below is my brother Mark shredding some of the primo single track on his way to a 7th place in his Comp category age division.
