Today was a solo day of riding my rigid 29'er at Standing Rocks alternating laps of singletrack with laps of xc ski trail. I decided to keep my road bike in the garage after the sad news we received on Friday about Gregg. Riding by myself has always been my time to reflect on family, friends and life in general. On my second lap of the singletrack I came across Holly, Steve and Craig from the Fox Valley area and decided it was time for some company. It was a great way to finish off the ride as it ended with some good conversation and a cold Fat Tire Ale.
