Early Sunday Ride
I dragged my sorry old body out of my comfy bedroom this morning at 5 am in order to pick Mark up by 6 am. We were on a short driving mission to meet up with Chris and Brad at 9-Mile County Forest to ride laps of last years 24-9 course. They had both raced the 50 miler at the Levis Trow WEMS event on Saturday and with the weather showing us a 50/50 chance of staying dry they decided to detour over to Wausau before heading back to Chicago. The weather actually did cooperate for us as we got in two laps plus some other singletrack for a total of three plus hours before loading up the cars as a light mist was starting to fall. It was great being able to ride with some fellow Endurance Freaks and my brother at 9-Mile, as we have all had great experiences at 24-9 over the years. Pedal on...

Scott, thanks again for coming out, and to Mark too -- tons of fun, great morning on the trails!
