B-Day Ride
My annual ritual of riding my age in miles on my birthday was successful again. I beat the rain that was forecast by a little under an hour this morning with a good 44 mile ride. The only thing that could have made my b-day better would have been a day off where I didn't have to be on someone else's clock. It looks like tomorrow will be a recovery day off the bike with a good session of core work and stretching since the weather is not cooperating with snow flurries in the forecast. Wednesday the weather is supposedly turning back to sunny and dry through Friday before more moisture is thrown back into the training mix for the weekend. With only 26 days left before this, everyday will be important as G-Ted has put together the longest and what he deems the toughest course in what is only version four. April is just too short of a month to get everything done with our second adoption happening in less than two weeks. Pedal when you can...

Its a day late...but Happy Birthday. I'm glad you missed the rain.

It was good riding with you on Sunday. I'll have to try and make it home again sometime to do another one of those rides...this time with you on a road bike
