End of October?
You would think that it's September with the temps in the high 60's today. I got in another four hours of mountain biking on this beautiful fall day as I hurry to try and grasp the 29'r concept before racing this big wheeled machine in just over a week. Once I get the Ergon grips installed that are being shipped today, thanks to Jeff Kerkove and Ergon, I should soon feel right at home on the Stumpy. After riding with Ergon grips for the last two years, stock round grips of any make or model in my personal opinion, don't even come close to the benefits that Ergon grips give you in comfort and control. In the next few days the weather looks to be turning ugly with rain showers and that's a sign to pull the road bike back out to get some short quality rides in when enough daylight is available. 11 days and counting to the IceMan.
