Riding, Riding, Riding...

With a week left in March I'm well ahead of last seasons training totals to date. Today action saw my brother Mark and I got out for a good fifty miler east of town on some of the most bike friendly roads I've ever pedaled on. The only problem we had today was a broken rear spoke on Mark's bike with about fifteen miles to go and we just happened to be heading towards a bike shop where Josiah the bike mechanic easily took care of his wheel before tomorrows Milano San Rapids Spring Classic ride. The weather was awesome being in the low 60's and slightly overcast. The wind seemed to be of little concern today as it felt good to shed the heavier layers of cycling cloths and replace them with leg warmers and a long sleeve jersey. Tonight we could see showers start and continue throughout the day tomorrow. I'm hoping that the forecast is wrong until after we complete our first club ride of the season that starts at 9 am tomorrow and have all made it over to Emy J's afterwards for a post ride shot of espresso or two.
