WORS Devil's Head
Not a whole lot of good came from the race today besides collecting a painful soil sample and bruising my body. I finished so far back, that I didn't even bother hanging around to check results before we started the drive home. A top 20 position for two laps came to a crashing halt on the singletrack section just before the end of lap two. Steep singletrack with your back wheel up in the air is a recipe for disaster as I thought I had saved it, but before I could get into the next turn a tree grabbed my handlebar and body slammed me to the ground. I'm hoping that this was my big crash for the season.
