24-9 Ten Days & Counting
With the race getting closer the course has finally been posted at the 24-9 website. With a tentative course set it looks like I'll travel the half hour to 9-mile for a few laps of easy riding. This week a new sponsor in AG Edwards & Sons Financial Services has come aboard with support for the upcoming 24 Hour Nationals and the remainder of the season. Thanks to Vance Underwood for stepping up and getting involved with cycling in our area. The Stevens Point area is on the verge of becoming more cycling friendly in the next few years as people realize that it is a great place to live with excellent recreational cycling and commuting within minutes of there homes. Bike trails, bike lanes, and bikes routes are all in the planning stages this year.

Today is my lazy day on the bike as yesterday was very long at work after filming different types of bicycles on the road and at Standing Rocks for our new TV commercial. My riding involved commuting both ways to work and riding the 11 miles back from the mountain bike portion of the shoot on the rails to trails. After commuting, tonights ride will include some exploring with the goal being focused on having fun with no hard efforts around town on the Green Circle.
