Ready, Set, Go...

Made the drive back to my home state yesterday getting into Kzoo by 11pm. Chicago was uneventful with no traffic backups and the weather was great for traveling. Having no snow covering the ground is taking some getting use to though. I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Barry-Roubaix race even with temps starting near or in the high teens at go time. I feel like it's another Iceman with the clothing options I've brought for the weather. My only goal is to stay attached and sheltered in the lead group. All needs to go better than last year through the mile long stretch of nasty two-track a few miles into each of the two 30 mile plus laps and the miles should melt away if my strategy goes as planned. My Adventure 212/Specialized teammate Mikee P will be gravel grinding with me tomorrow in a field that looks to be pretty stacked with Midwest talent. Good luck to all of the 900+ participants at the B-R! Pedal on...
