Evening Commute

A bit overdressed with the goggles last night on the way home from work. Felt like I was rding around in a fish bowl for most of the ride. My morning trip was much colder for the hour I was out exploring the local trails and my regular optics worked just fine for the negative temps and windchill. I seem to have my layering down pretty good for winter riding after many years of trial and error, but it still amazes me how just a small tweak from your feet to hands and head can make the most difference with winter riding comfort and enjoyment. Have fun and stay warm if you get outside to ride! Pedal on...

That pic is soo great! Reminds me of Mcfly coming out of the Barn from the DeLorean and being mistaken for the comic book alien....might get similar looks from the locals watching you emerge from the frozen tundra?

I have definitely scared/shocked many locals this winter with my odd bike and being out riding in sub-zero temps. It's been lots of fun!

awesome! I wear my goggles all the time. they keep me warm - I feel like I get cold really quickly when I only am wearing glasses. Coldest so far this year was -17 out here.
