Rotor Q-Rings 2 x 9

So far...so good with the install and the first S-Works Q-Ring ride. Did some laps tonight at the WORS HQ's with Don and Mark. Some minor adjustments are still needed with the front derailleur to smooth out the up shifts to the big ring. I only had time to clean the chain and rear cassette this morning before work and Mark spent maybe ten minutes putting the clean chain back on with a quick high and low stop adjustment to the front derailleur before we headed out to ride. The 40 tooth big ring feels more natural to me versus the 42 tooth after just this short test run. I'm kind of in the middle when it comes to being a spinner a lot and/or trying to mash the bigger gears on a mountain bike. Tomorrow's pre-ride of the
Big Ring WORS course and Sunday's race on a fairly fast wide open course will answer many of my questions about my choice of the 40-27 double front chain rings over the 42-32-22 conventional triple that is stock gearing on just about all mountain bikes.
Good luck to everyone racing this weekend!
