Windy Sunday 100k

A windy beginning, but overall an easy 100k in 40 degree temps today was the perfect amount of saddle time. After not feeling the best this morning, I'll take just being able to ride as a bonus for the day with everything that has happened in the last few weeks. The wind was tough heading East, but the reward was a well earned 20mph tail wind once we neared Waupaca and the seven of us made the turn to head West. Once turned and heading back West, we were literally shot back towards Custer. From Custer, three of us including Mark K and my brother, finished off the ride by going away from the planned direct route back into Point to add a few miles to reach 100k. Will the real Spring like weather please step forward someday? Next week brings the first Heartland Club Spring Classic training ride with the 50 mile Milano-San Rapids classic. Pedal on...
