Waupaca Flanders Spring Classic
The weather cooperated again as I was able to ride myself out to the start of today's club ride and actually shed some layers during the day. My legs didn't come around until approximately mile 60 of my mileage where two of us opened up a small gap and rode at a good even tempo back into the coffee shop where the ride started and finished. It was good to see some old faces that haven't been around since last years Spring Classic rides. The rest of my afternoon was fun as my early arrival home from the ride gave me some quality time with the family. After a quick recovery drink we headed down to the library and spent time in the children's area playing with toy trains, checking out new books and whatever else my daughter wanted me to take part in. Can life get any better? Yes it can...
