Still Breathing
No good answers from my doctors appointment today. I had blood drawn along with an ultrasound around my abdominal area to check my gallbladder and other organs. Nothing obvious so in another two weeks I'll have a HIDA scan where they inject a dye to see if the gallbladder is working correctly. I hate going to the doctors office/hospital. Spending my whole morning around sick people is pretty depressing. When my stomach is fine I feel totally normal. When it goes bad it can bring this old racer down quickly. To stay somewhat sane today I managed to ride the Green Circle on my mountain bike with some singletrack thrown in the mix as I attempt to stay fit this time of year with three more races on the schedule. I'm hoping that Iola is just a painful race with no puking bouts the night before to keep me from racing. Pedal on...
