Messed up Day
What I thought was my day-off really wasn't after I getting confused with the schedule and back to school bike sale for this next week/month. To make a long story short, I sacrificed a Saturday off to keep today as my official day-off this week. Hopefully I didn't screw up the schedule for other employees too bad. My morning started off with driving my sick truck down to the local Ford dealership to get the drivers side door lock fixed(I hate getting in and out NASCAR style) and to find out why the "check engine" light has come on along with a loss of power as it sounds like it's running on only a few cylinders. It may be an expensive day with the way things are going so far.
The only positive for the week so far is that my mountain bike is cleaned and ready to race at Kewaskum this next weekend as long as the rain stays away. No more mudders if I have my way. Even if I'm already signed up, I'll be hard pressed to make the drive to play in the mud at a small ski hill. I'm praying for sunshine all weekend if that's possible for a WORS race. Tonight is the Tuesday night road ride even though the lack of daylight keeps making these rides shorter and shorter. We'll see who shows up and that will determine how many miles we can squeeze out of the two hours of daylight we have to ride in. It could be a good night for sign sprints. Pedal on...
