Home Sweet Home
Today was like a holiday after being gone for six days out in Sin City. It was all work and no play as I experienced the show as an exhibitor for the first time in my many trips to InterBike. After trying to catch up on my sleep after getting home late last night, I ventured out to Standing Rocks with my brother for a good hour and a half jaunt through the woods to revive my seized up legs that hadn't pedaled a bicycle for any worthy amount of time in five days. Add travel time along with time zone differences and I feel as though I'm starting over again with the way my body feels. Thankfully I had no serious issues with my stomach this past week and on Wednesday I'm having another test to try and pinpoint my problem. Tomorrow it's the start of another long post InterBike work week with tasks to catch up on along with the daily issues that occur in retail and manufacturing. The last WORS race is this weekend in Sheboygan at one of my favorite courses that will finish off a pretty good XC season for me. All I need to do this week is to find some quality riding time as I fight the disappearing daylight hours as the season winds down with only the IceMan Cometh in November being left on my schedule after this weekend. It's hard to believe that the summer has come and gone so fast. Pedal on...
