Just Trying To Ride
This week has been the hardest for me in terms of getting out on my bike and riding. I could list the reasons starting with weather, work, bruises, body aches and some mental issues, but most people already believe that I'm nuts anyways with the amount of biking I do. This morning it's around 8am as I sit here blogging waiting on the outside temperature to get closer to 60 degrees before heading somewhere for a ride on my road bike. Work isn't until noon which gives me a good window of opportunity to get 40+ miles in at a leisurely sightseeing pace if I'm motivated. Maybe I'll take the camera to get some new pics or video for the blog of something interesting this morning. Gotta make the rides fun...

I usually don't share signs of weakness with my competition but what the heck, we're human after all. My legs are still shot after the cramping at the Smokin Spoke. One recovery spin after another, day after day, isn't helping. I'm hoping that the massage last night makes a difference. I feel your pain brother. Recovery makes us stronger? Good luck - Jeff M.
I don't think I'd call it a sign of weakness, just the truth. These last few weeks have been harder to recover from than any 24 hour solo race I've finished. See you at Kewaskum in a week with fresh legs.
