Rainy Day?
So far, the start to my two days off in a row has already included a nice thunderstorm this morning with more to come later in the afternoon possibly. If I'm lucky I'll get my ride in later with the few that usually show up for the Tuesday night ride. I'm beginning to get my lights and other necessary items ready for the 24 hour nationals that are coming very quickly. My plan is to have everything ready a week ahead of time to eliminate some of the stress that comes with coordinating food, pits, parts, bikes and pit crew. I was pretty wasted after this weekend with my lack of sleep and a good race effort at the Firecracker WORS race. Yesterday was a rest day that turned into a 12 hour marathon day at work that made me even more tired. For the 4th, I hope to get out for a long slow road ride in the morning with my brother if he's up for it. The sun is suppose to be out for most of the day which should make the miles go by quickly.
