Good 4th of July, Bad Night

It was a great morning ride with my brother on some new roads to the northeast of town. We experienced everything from the 31 mph Black Lab running beside us downhill to a few Bison at a local farm. Last night was another story as I had flu like symptoms and spent another late night/early morning in the bathroom puking my guts out. Nothing like losing weight quickly without having to ride a million miles. I'm going to make an attempt to work for a few hours to get some orders and e-mails out before reevaluating how I feel around noon time. Getting sick like this really upset my morning ritual of being out on the bike before 6am which may not happen at all today with my upset stomach and aching body. Who knows how the day will turn out and how I'll function on my two hours of sleep from last night.

That route looks pretty good... I miss riding those empty roads up there. Hope you feel better soon. Say hi to Laura.

Kyle,
How's the road racing season treating you? Since your class left UWSP we hardly have any young guys out with us to make the empty road training interesting. Take care, race smart.
