GReat Annual Bicycle Adventure Along the Wisconsin River.
Today the GRABAAWR
week long ride comes through Stevens Point as it heads to Wisconsin Rapids for its nightly stop. I had a chance to help with the Specialized Bicycle demo today, but having to be at work put a stop to that plan very quickly. Our Specialized rep has gotten off to a rough start as he put a nice dent into an SUV door at the end of yesterdays ride in the sponsoring high schools parking lot. He bounced back up with a few scratches and a wheel slightly out of true with the SUV driver probably not even aware that you should wait for bicyclists when they're rolling towards him before turning into the parking spot. Some people shouldn't be allowed to drive.

Tonight is the Tuesday group road ride again with hopes of having a few more bodies show up. It would be nice to see more than six on one of these rides. Last week we got a good 40+ in with the route that was chosen to battle the high wind speeds. Ride info is at the HBNSC web page.
