Everything is Weather Related
It's another Wednesday and of course the forecast calls for scattered t-storms possibly starting just before the mountain bike ride at Standing Rocks. This will be three weeks in a row that we've had threatening weather on Wednesday's. I'm going out in a few minutes to ride the Green Circle to at least get a ride in today. It's not the most exciting, but I can't really wait until the end of the day and get rained out and at this point of the season I'm already tired of overhauling bikes after wet or mud filled rides. Last nights road ride was a short one at only 35 miles. It was a good ride with the six that showed up even though my stomach still seems to be somewhat soured from this past weekend of whatever stomach virus I attracted. I'm still up in the air about the weekend of the 16th on what race or races I should enter. The Chain Drive is in Houghton with the attraction of being a new race and on that Sunday I always have the WORS race in Phillips at one of my least favorite courses. Tough decision as I'll need to get off this computer and think about it while I ride.

I'm always amazed when you call 35 miles a "short ride" (because of what it says about me).
