Sunday Rant
Now that I'm finally feeling better, it's easier to get motivated for the new year knowing that once the weather turns for the better after this crazy Winter, I can get out on my new bikes and let the adrenalin carry me for a few thousand miles. For now though, with Winter appearing suddenly again, it's either off to the YMCA for some weight work early in the morning or possibly a longer commute to work if the roads are clear enough to be somewhat safe. Around our town it's been pretty dangerous right after a good snowfall to ride the roads before some of the bike paths are cleared to use as safe alternatives.

The city of Stevens Point and the county has put clearing the bike paths as one of its lowest priorities in the last few years with only a small amount of effort towards them if you call and complain. Nobody wants to take responsibility in a town that should be cycling friendly no matter what time of the year it is. Maybe it's time to step up to the plate and get something done around here before people give up on the idea of using a bicycle for commuting and running errands around our town.

Jeff, When will your profile and other team members be posted on the Topeak-Ergon web site? Nice team kit! I'm jealous of your trip to Mollorca also. One of my friends leads a cycling trip over there for two weeks through UWSP over Spring break and someday I need to sell a bike see Mallorca myself.

Nice bike! I ordered one, but they are not available until April. Such is life. I too had a 2006 Sworks Epic which I sold to get the 2007 version.

Not sure on Team profiles date. Part of the Mallorca trip is to take care of the profile type stuff (pictures, interviews, etc, etc).

I am also not sure if the team will be part of the Ergon site...or they'll just develop an entire new site.

Either way, all this should be clear by the end of Feb.
