Day Off...
My agenda was to install a new door in our den, but a very sick black lab named Moab needed to visit the vet ASAP after eating an XL bag of peanut M & M's that weren't found when unpacking from our week in Michigan. Try carrying a 100 lb lifeless lab down the stairs early in the morning. Not Fun! After spending over $100 at the vet, I finally got started on my project and with a few trips to Lowe's and Menards for tools and missing hardware, I had a door installed many hours later. Maybe I should have gone to the YMCA for four hours of sweat instead of getting worked over by my door installation project. To top everything off, last night I started to feel like my immune system was finally failing me as I had contracted whatever cold or illness has run over my daughter and wife at a rate where I might want to consider buying stock in the Kleenex company soon. I can usually tell I'm getting sick when a good cup of dark roast coffee isn't desireable in the morning. Hopefully by tomorrow something bicycle related can get posted on my blog once this old body feels somewhat normal again. Also, Moab did survive her chocolate M & M overdose as she is now on a very bland diet of boiled chicken and rice for the next few weeks. Dogs will be dogs...
