WORS #3 Big Ring Classic by Rudy Rack
15th overall in the Elite race today was way above my expectations with how I felt most of this past week. The only bad part of the race today was my endo over a downed tree in the new section of singletrack and my lack of "Big Ring" pushing that hasn't appeared in two of three WORS races so far this season. My Specialized S-Works Epic was awesome in the newly cut singletrack minus the error by its rider today as I had the rear Fox Shock w/Brain set up on the softer side to absorb all the square edged holes and numerous rock gardens that seemed to be spread throughout most of the singletrack. Hats off to Don, his WORS crew, and all the volunteers that helped put on a great race today.
