Alpine Valley WORS
With a possibility of isolated thunderstorms late Saturday and continuing into the early morning hours on Sunday I have gotten my two bikes set up for whatever weather is thrown at me come race time. Skinny 1.8 mud tires on my older Specialized Epic and my new Epic S-Works is set up just like it was delivered except for the Ergon grips. Hopefully I can choose the correct bike for whatever conditions exist on Sunday afternoon if I'm lucky. I feel good about Sunday's race with my take whatever mother nature dishes out attitude as long as I remember that racing is fun no matter how painful it will be every lap. Maybe I can hook up with Mountain Goat on his Mr. Bigg 29'r and get pulled up all the climbs? Lets all hope for decent course conditions at AV along with a good racer turnout.

I pull on the climbs and you pull on the flats.

Course is in great shape. You'll want the new bike tomorrow.
