This mornings ride was all about quality vs. quantity with many short accelerations and some longer time trial paced efforts. It looked like a wet training day as the weather was still pretty severe at 5:30am when I got up and brewed some java. By the time I got outside the rain had stopped and roads weren't that bad with the temperature in the mid 50's. I actually commuted to work a few hours later in shorts and a t-shirt which is very unusual with the weather being so inconsistent in April. My work day was of marathon length as I rolled into the driveway just before 11pm on my old commuter bike after working on the salesfloor layout after hours. Sooner or later we'll get it figured out as we have changed it about a half a dozen times in the last two weeks. It's a problem when you ask five or more people for an opinion and nobody can come to any conclusions about the layout. Tomorrow can only be better.

Next PASTA trail work day is at 3pm Sunday April 23rd at Standing Rocks County Park. Contact me for information if you are interested in volunteering. We will shortly have a 14 miles of singletrack completed. We are working on raking the existing 12 miles and moving any downed trees before the IMBA Trail Crew visit the first weekend in May. .
