No Work
One full week of not being on the clock with nothing to do but train, eat, read, and relax. The weather may not be Summer like in the Midwest compared to Moab or Florida, but I'll take it as long as I'm away from work. The Chequamegon Fat Tire entries were due postmarked by the 15th of March. We'll see if I get in with the lottery selection that has been used for the last five or so years. I hope that I don't have to write a letter again to make up for not being picked. It's worked in the past as an entry option, but it's still a pain in the ass. Motivation is still high for the season with some good long training rides being put in and now I'm looking forward to mountain biking as soon as the snow is gone. Waiting for my new mountain bike to arrive doesn't hurt motivation either.
