Yesterday the short and long sleeve Rudy Rack Team jerseys arrived with the wind jackets coming next week. They fit very well and made it through a three hour mtb ride this morning with no issues at all. Standing Rocks was in excellent condition thanks to the brothers: Wally, Frank, and Jim who have managed to get out with the DR Trimmer and some good old hand sicles to fight back the fast growing blackberry bushes on many of the sections. My ride this morning was uneventful as I flowed through the singletrack and put in a few long hard efforts on the rails-to-trails while heading home. Today I found it interesting to see all the front end washouts that might have caused a few unexpected crashes. Every loose corner looked to have taken someone down possibly in the last few days. I'm hoping to squeeze in another early morning ride tomorrow if the weather would ever consistently stay sunny and warm.
